A video called "HuluTube: Phasing you out of YouTube" has started a YouTube revolution. The man, who will only identify himself as Mr. Black, posted a video on YouTube on April 15 telling about information he has heard regarding YouTube becoming a Hulu-like site. At the time of this article being written, the video is in 1st place on the Most Discussed, Most Responded, Top Favored and Top Rated lists.

Also in the video, he talks about YouTube becoming more of a place for companies such as Disney to share their videos and become popular. using an image of Mickey Mouse eating the YouTube logo.

"It is clear that because of the inability to handle your business properly, we've had to pay for all of your incompetence with business negotiations. And now you're selling the YouTube users out to big companies like Disney, and you think that we are just going to lie down and take it. I don't think so!" Mr. Black says in his video towards YouTube.

After watching the video, uses are asked to download a copy of the video online and upload it on their own channels, which over 700 users have done so far, including ones that are extremely popular. They are also asked to rate, comment on and favor the video.

Mr. Black has called for reforms on YouTube before, including ones on the Digital Copyright Management Association policies and adult content filtering. He also accuses YouTube of censoring his videos by putting adult content flags on them and suspending his accounts, which he claims to have both video and screenshot evidence of.

He expects the YouTube users to revolt and start a revolution, just like what happened on Facebook, a popular social networking site, when they added new sections to their Terms of Service policies which many users felt invaded their privacy. The users revolted, and Facebook held a vote to decide the new policies. Another revolution started when many video gamers were upset about EA Games using Securerom, a controversial disc protection product, on their new game The Sims 3. EA Games then published a notice saying Securerom would not be used on the game.

YouTube has yet to respond to the video. Until then, many users have vowed to keep fighting for what they believe are their rights, and Mr. Black has said during online conferences that he will not stop making videos against YouTube until they change.
