ME201 Engineering Design I:

The final design exercise in ME201 was a student selected modeling project. The project guideline was to select a cellular phone with a movable part(ie clamshell phone, flip, slider, etc), model it as accurately as possibly, make an assembly of the parts so it could be virtually opened/closed, and render the final assembly.

A Motorola V1 phone was measured, modeled, and assembled, the final renderings are shown below:
